The International Federation of Sled-dog Sport (IFSS) has chosen Hybe, Slovakia, as the place for the Junior World Championship, January 18-19.2003 hosted by Slovak's open Association - Slovak Association Sled-dog Sport , Slovenska Asociacia Sportu Psich Zaprahov(SASPZ).
The official opening ceremonies are scheduled to take place on Friday, January 17.
The Junior World Championships are the snow championships of mushing events.

The top junior athlets will compete in four categories:

Entry Fee: 25,- Euro

LMK Hybe organize in the same time event of ESDRA cup but it is not problem for us to arrange four categories more, during the same event .
We know that the time to prepare this race is very short but we think we need this event to develop our sport and for the future of mushing. We all know that every season almost each race is cancelled because of the snow conditions ( for example the WSA had not championships races for the last two seasons).
We think that it is better to take the risk and try to prepare this race.
So, we take the risk and we invite all junior mushers from all of the world to Hybe.
Our community already live and work for this event from today.

Entry forms are available online at the www.mushing.sk website or from Tim White (twhite@boreal.org , lubosramek@stonline.sk). Entry is open for everyone wishing to compete. Some participants may need to have a visa to enter to Slovakia. If an invitation is needed from either IFSS and/or the Slovak host to order to obtain this visa, please email IFSS Secretary General Sally O'Sullivan Bair ( sbair@cpinternet.com ).
